Ingredients
- 28 Oz Crushed Tomatoes (Large Can)
- 1/2 Yellow Onion – Diced
- 2 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic Cloves – Minced
- 1 Tbs Dried Oregano
- 1 Tbs Dried Basil
- 1 Tbs Dried Parsley
- 2 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 Tsp Granulated Sugar
- 2 Bay Leaves
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a small to medium sized pot on the stove over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add the crushed tomatoes and stir to combine.
- Season the sauce with the remaining herbs and bring to a simmer for 30 minutes.
- Remove the bay leaves before using.
