Japanese Steakhouse Ginger Sauce and Yum Yum Sauce
Ingredients
Ginger Sauce
- 1 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Seasoned Rice Vinegar
- 2 Tbs Cold Water
- 1/2 Large Yellow Onion – Quartered
- 1/2 Cup Ginger – Peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch thick pieces
- 1/2 Lemon – Zest and Juice
- 1 Tbs Brown Sugar
Yum Yum Sauce
- 2 Cups Mayo
- 1/4 Cup Ketchup
- 1/4 Cup Water
- 2 Tbs Melted Butter
- 2 Tbs White Sugar
- 1 Tbs Seasoned Rice Vinegar
- 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbs Smoked Paprika
- 2 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Cayenne
Directions
Ginger Sauce
- Prepare this sauce a day in advance.
- Put all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Pulse everything for 20 to 30 seconds to combine.
- Place in an air-tight container and chill overnight.
Yum Yum Sauce
- Prepare this sauce a day in advance.
- Put all of the ingredients in a medium-size bowl and whisk well to combine.
- Place in an air-tight container and chill overnight.
